My name is Jillian Doucet and I am the Owner of Critter Comforts In-Home Pet Sitting. I previously operated my business in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan for 11 years, until a career change took me out of the community. I was able to rekindle my love of Pet Sitting after joining the team at Mutts N Scruffs Pet Sitting & Dog Walking for the past 2 years. Due to Mutts N Scruffs no longer providing service to Lloydminster, I was encouraged to fill the gap and offer In-Home Pet Sitting to past and potential new clients.

I have been heavily involved in animal causes for most of my life. I served Meadow Lake & District Humane Society for 15 years as board president, shelter volunteer and foster home. I was a volunteer and board member with Healing Haven Wildlife Rescue and have previously fostered for Furbabies Furever Homes, volunteered for Canine Action Project and currently foster for Border Paws Animal Shelter.

I am passionate about animals and look forward to the opportunity to provide tender loving care for your furry companions when you can't be there!

Jill is incredibly trustworthy and is always going out of her way to ensure the best care for my pets while I'm away! I don't trust just anyone with my family which includes dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, chickens, ferret, goose and she has even cared for an orphaned fawn for me! She gives me updates on how well they're doing while I'm away so I can relax wherever I am! I don't like leaving my gang much but I know without a doubt everything will be fine so long as Jill is taking care of them! There are many reasons why my husband and I were thrilled when we heard Jillian was pet sitting. It is very convenient to have her come to our house, as opposed to loading up kennels, food, etc. Our dogs are much more comfortable in their own home and are on a set schedule. Jillian is willing to work around our schedule which we really appreciate. Jillian loves animals and it shows! When she enters our house our dogs are so excited to see her. It is a very good feeling knowing that we are leaving our pets with someone who loves them just as much as we do. It is very comforting knowing she is coming by our house while we are away.
